On Bill Press. Pregnant Women On Medicaid Must Look For Work Or Lose Benefits.

So if you are pregnant and are not working under GOP health care plan you must seek employment to keep your health care. What a bunch of fucking barbarians. How did Trump get 53% of women's vote. And why do women vote for GOP?

ADDENDUM. Plus women lose guaranteed coverage for mammograms and maternal care. GOP argument that men don't get pregnant so should not have eo have plan that covers maternal care even if they are married.

Employers almost never hire an unemployed woman who is pregnant. They don't want them on their health care plan.

I would have women come in who had lost their jobs. And it was really true that their chances of getting a job were really zero. We knew that an employer would question our sanity sending a pregnant woman to an interview. By law we sent them for jobs they were qualified for knowing they would not get hired.

It was discrimination but we could not do much about it.
