trump made a tweet last week at the end of the hearing. It said something to the

effect that more info will come that shows that he was wiretapped. Can't remember the exact words or timing, but it was either at the end of the hearing or shortly after.

Is the present kerfluffle with Nunes what he was talking about?

It was most likely a bluff coming from Trump. He is typically following the news not making it with original information. There was indication that Intelligence agencies were monitoring the activities of Russian officials and known operatives for some time. Malcolm Nance, the former intelligence officer, had written a book all the way back on August of 2016 I believe, about Russian activity and how it was influencing the election. Trump also has had ties to very shady Russian "business associates" implicated as mob figures, so that could have been a focus of the FBI.

The situation with Nunes is about how unethically, and possibly illegally Nunes acted by going to Trump, the potential subject of investigation with information about said investigation. As chair of the committee overseeing the investigation of the matter for the House, there are protocol to follow and going to the subject of the investigation to inform them is not part of the protocol. Nunes was also part of Trump's Transition team so that is why there is so much interest in what he did.

That Trump told Nunes to hold the presser, then go to the White House, yes. That has been floated. I don't think that it was Trump's idea either. He's dumb, but he has some devious people in his inner circle so it is quite possible that they used Nunes to deflect the heat away from Trump.

Of course without knowing how or why he had access to dozens of reports that had nothing to do with the Russian investigation may be interesting.

"NSA was co-operating", so..
