Don't anyone get too misty-eyed thanking Republicans

... they only voted against this because THEIR constituents let them know it was inappropriate. And while I can at least acknowledge these Repubs were wise enough to have the common sense not to light their own asses on fire, I want to send a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the good people who contacted their Republican representatives to argue against this atrocious bill!
