Could someone explain to me exactly why Ted Lieu (he's my congressman and Bill Maher said

his Congressman as well) wasn't on Real Time tonight? Bill read what Congressman Lieu wrote about Government needing to stop business as usual but I'm still not clear on what that has to do with him not being on the show.

The vote for AHCA was originally scheduled for this afternoon around 3:30 - 4:30 PM. If it ran later, he wouldn't have arrived in time.

The vote was cancelled too late to change plans.
