1. Oh, I think some local taxes will be raised

and sections will be built near some of the more xenophobic towns near the border.

However, Texas doesn't want it to screw up Big Bend country or the big park there and NM doesn't want the fucking thing, at all, so it'll be mostly AZ and San Diego that will "benefit."

Appropriate enough money to make headlines but not nearly enough to accomplish anything real, get a photo op signing it, get another photo op "breaking ground" then let the project stagnate and say it will take years to complete.

There are already miles and miles of physical barriers, some are walls some are fences.

Near El Centro the border is so close to the 8 that there are two fences to slow them down.
