I have come to realize that political differences can create totally opposite realities. As Democrats were shocked to learn of the Russian influence in our election and the exposure of an "unregistered foreign agent" sitting in the White House as head of National Security, Republicans were more concerned about who leaked the information that people in the White House were working with the Russians? Their concerns were totally different from those of the Democrats.
Just as when the Republicans were screaming about Benghazi and Hillary's emails. They were sure there was some collusion to stifle the truth in their investigations. Democrats never took their charges that seriously. Republicans were certain Hillary was a lying criminal.
This is a political reality with which we must deal. What seems obvious to us as a threat to our nation and criminal in nature is seen as a trivial event by most in the other Party. We cannot understand it but our brains are like a computer - you can only get out what you put in.

The farmer put yeast in the horses' manes and after 24 hours, lo, the birds had left and the nests were no more.
And what is the moral of this tale?
