Nunes - "No future hearings for the Russia investigation are on the books."

Nunes said the plan was to further question FBI Director James Comey and NSA director Mike Rogers instead, but then postponed that hearing as well, citing scheduling issues. A series of additional meetings were postponed as well. Democrats say that explanation doesn't add up and want the hearings immediately rescheduled. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a member of the intelligence committee, told MSNBC on Wednesday that "no future hearings for the Russia investigation are on the books."

What other explanation could there be for his skulking around the WH grounds to meet with some unknown person and acquire some information which he refuses to disclose to anyone - even the other GOPers on the committee? My theory is that he was told about an intercept that contained information about him that's so damaging that he'd rather make a colossal ass of himself, discredit his committee and ruin his reputation forever than tell anyone what he found out. He looks really frightened, I think.

Nunes congressional district runs from Clovis to Visalia. More than half the district is registered Republican and Nunes has never faced a serious challenge during his five terms in office. The Survey USA poll show slightly more, 42-percent of those questioned disapprove of the job he's doing as a Congressman, 40-percent approve, and 19-percent are not sure.

today's hearings seem to bearing fruit already, so, perhaps public support will keep this in the spotlight, but the fourth reich will do all they can to stifle any useful information coming out of the senate committee

going to be interesting to see what bannon comes up with to counter the truth.

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about Russia and the Trump Administration. Your input is important to me, and I appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.
I agree that all public officials should be free of entanglements that might afford foreign powers influence over their conduct in office. And foreign interference in our elections is deeply troubling. A number of allegations have been made about improper connections between President Trump’s team and the Russian government. There is an ongoing investigation into these allegations by congressional committees and I support them and believe they should be fulsome. The insight your letter has provided my staff and me will certainly help us as we examine these matters and determine our course of action going forward.
Thank you again for your letter. I hope that you will continue to share your thoughts with me throughout my service in the Senate.

Sincerely,

Bob Corker
United States Senator
