scrutinized by the FBI and Congressional Intelligence Committee's for collusion with Russia in the election and ongoing collusion with Russia since Trump has been elected.
The seriousness of these accusations is beyond the pale. How do these people sleep at night and why do they continue to lie about this? How do they handle the pressure of these investigations without cracking?
If it comes to pass that there has been collusion and a follow-up cover-up - these people face serious jail time.

(2,678 posts)Trump was never really liberal. He hid his fascist persona well at the time. That talk about "legalizing drugs?" It was "talk" and nothing more. The opiate crackdown coming will, most likely, come at the expense of legitimate pain sufferers. That is the low hanging fruit.

(5,995 posts)They could afford to pay lawyers to wear out their opponents and bury any opposition as well as threats of defamation lawsuits when called out publicly. Now as public officials, they can't hide behind privacy laws and their opponents tend to be well financed and with lawyers every bit as good as any they can hire.
After some big and public losses, they might develop a degree of introspection if they aren't removed from office first.
