The attitude of starving government promoted by the GOP, Grover and friends and most of all the tparty, has destroyed what was once a great nation and infrastructure.

The answer trump will have is give money to friends to hire non union minimum wage workers to build roads and bridges they will own

I've found that the biggest complainers of the 'mommy state' are the same people who want an authoritarian leader.

I've asked my repub friends why they vote for someone who disdains government. I said, "If I interviewed for your company & told you I hate it & I want to tear it down to the point where I could destroy it, would you hire me? Of course not! So why do you vote for people who want to destroy government?" Invariably the answer I get is that they don't want to destroy government, they just want to shrink it. At which point I give them an exasperated look & ask, "What part of drown it in a bathtub didn't you understand?"
