Officer Shelby clearly doesn't think she did anything wrong. But wasn't it nice of 60 Minutes to provide her with a platform to explain and expound on her version of the story? I'm sure they would have given her victim equal time except for that whole being dead thing Crutcher is using as a dodge to avoid testifying.

that Tulsa county convicted an 84 year old volunteer deputy for shooting an unarmed man. But I would bet my next paycheck it won't happen again.

6. Given jury bias toward cops and the unclear video just as the fatal

shot was fired, my estimate is she gets acquitted. I do wish police department would make it mandatory that cops use tazers instead of guns in a situation like that. Even minutes before she fired the shot, another cop was beside her and the victim was still near the back of the truck, not the door - both could have tazed the guy. Another thing that I want is for laws to be changed to allow juries to consider a cop's racial views and activities as well as whether he or she has a history of using force more frequently with members of certain groups.
