Susan Rice, who served as national security adviser for President Barack Obama, ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce "detailed spreadsheets" involving Donald Trump and his aides during the 2016 presidential race, former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova said.
"What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals," diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group

So, who, you might well ask, is Joseph DiGenova, the source for this story?
Let's see, who is he married to?
Oh, that's right, almost forgot! Erik Princes lawyer!
From wiki...
"Victoria Toensing (born c. 1940) is a lawyer, and partner with her husband, Joseph DiGenova, in the Washington law firm DiGenova and Toensing.[1] Her practice specializes in white-collar criminal defense, regulatory inquiries, and legislative advocacy. She has appeared as a legal commentator on several networks including CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC."
"Emily Bazelon of Slate.com has called Toensing "a blanketer of the airwaves about the tawdriness of the Lewinsky affair."[2] Toensing and her husband made regular appearances on television claiming that they were the target of investigations by Clinton Administration"
But wait, there's more....
"In March 2005 Toensing submitted an amicus curiae brief on behalf of Matt Cooper and Judith Miller, two journalists who were subpoenaed in the Valerie Plame investigation for refusing to reveal information obtained from confidential sources.
In the brief, she "argued that the law couldn't have been broken when Valerie Plame's cover as a CIA agent was blown because her status wasn't really covert."[2] She also contended that Ms. Plame did not have a cover to be blown, citing a July 23, 2004, article in the Washington Times which argued that Valerie Plame's status as an undercover CIA agent may have been known to Russian and Cuban intelligence operations prior to the article (by Robert Novak) that revealed her status as a CIA employee."

Erik Princes lawyer... from a 2016 article....
"Erik Prince, founder of the now-defunct mercenary firm Blackwater and current chairman of Frontier Services Group, is under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and other federal agencies for attempting to broker military services to foreign governments and possible money laundering, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the case."
"Prince, through his lawyer, Victoria Toensing, said he has not been informed of a federal investigation and had not offered any defense services in Libya. Toensing called the money-laundering allegations total bullsh*t.

Straight out of the Russian intelligence playbook.
Throw out a amokescreen as a diversion, cloud the issue, and make them waste time and energy on debunking.
Lying scum.
Thanks to DUer kPete for this post, which motivated me to dig deeper into this.

They were presented as profound, important figures in the legal world, while today we know how phony all the retired generals, retired Justice Dept (Repukes), retired party hacks are. Rachel's context on these two jerks was an A-HA! moment.
