Didn't see them on Colbert, but will look for it. If it was last night, it's probably on my DVR.

But Pod Save America and Slate's Trumpcast are required listening for me.

I may be a bit pedantic here, but there was the whole "I'll have more flexibility after the election" bit with Putin. That was all driven by politics. Not really saying that he was wrong, but politics is SUPPOSED to influence foreign policy and national security policy. And Obama was quoted more than once saying something to the effect that he wasn't elected to start wars. I'm pretty sure it was considered in the whole "classification of torture photos" decision. Doesn't mean it was decisive, but gosh, I hope they considered what the people want.
