Take a deep breath

1. Syria gases their own people, again.
2. Russian equipment and military were on the same base.
So no one noticed what the Syrians were doing?
3. We strike at the Syrians
4. BUT ONLY AFTER GIVING THE RUSSIANS advanced warning.

Now, the current President is plagued by issues regarding his involvement with Russia, his approval numbers are dropping, yet all of the sudden he is taking on Russia, doing the right thing. WITH ADVANCE WARNING TO THE RUSSIANS.

Come on people. This ain't chess, this ain't even checkers, this it tic tac toe.

1. Barbara Starr (CNN Pentagon corespondent) just asked: if the Russians were there at that airbase...

What did they know about the chemical weapons attack? One US official told her tonight it happened right under their nose.

Then we warn Russia of an impending attack on the airbase they're stationed at? Does anyone believe Syria wansn't tipped off by Russia?

The point wasn't to kill people so much as to destroy some material and make big BANG noises.

6. The point she was making is that the gas attack took place under Russia's very nose.

It seems there's some chatter it was launched from this airbase, and that the Russians (Syria's ally) was stationed there as well. All this raises more questions as to if Russia knew about the poison gas attack prior to/during the event.

Yes, I agree the point of the attack was to blast some stuff and make a distraction, but her point is at least somewhat interesting as to Russia.

That they were stationed there complicates the matter for them if the US says the poison gas was launched from the base we just attacked. I wonder if Trump thought this far ahead? Personally, I doubt he did.

If the chemical attack was launched from this particular Syrian ally base, and Russia was stationed there, did they know?
