Nothing else will serve up a lesson to corporate overlords.
Not a lawsuit or having to pay millions upon losing - it's just cost of doing business for them.
Going bankrupt will hurt the executives personally by rendering their millions in stock options and RSUs worthless. And that it what they deserve.

I fly a lot on work ... mostly Delta though. The worst I have seen pales in comparison to this .. The way to handle overbooking is at the check-in counter and the gate. Not after people are seated. While printing out the boarding card, the system ask the amount for which i am willing to be bumped off the flight.. Then it picks the lowest among the bids.

(42,700 posts)Unless all of the other airlines' employees are working to absolute capacity, they won't be hiring new workers if they pick up additional routes and passengers -- they'll be adding to their existing employees' workload.

What happens in the stock market is mostly psychological.

my best friend takes maybe over 40 business trips a year.
she is literally never home....flies enuf so she gets lots of upgrades cause the rest of the plane really is more cattle car
