Japans Prime Minister Shinzo Abe warned Thursday that North Korea might be capable of firing a missile loaded with sarin nerve gas toward Japan.
Abe, who made the statement at a parliamentary panel on national security, said Pyongyang may already be able to shoot missiles with sarin as warheads, the Associated Press reported.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention describes sarin as a human-made chemical warfare agent classified as a nerve agent. Generally odorless and tasteless, it can cause death in minutes.

(92,190 posts)want the U.S. under trump to be tough on China and NK, whatever that means
It isn't in Japan's interests or anyone in that region to engage in hostilities, and trump threatening a pre-emptive strike against NK is not a good thing.
South Korea is even more at risk, and there position is there would be no American pre-emptive strike, and no foreign country, including the U.S. should bring war to the Korean Pennisula:

The only parties that I know who are threatening military engagement in that region are the U.S. and NK. China sure isn't
As for the Cuban missile crisis, John Kennedy was the President then, not someone like Donald Trump. Curtis E Lemay, and other generals were actually pushing Kennedy to do a first strike against the Soviet Union. If someone like trump was president then, we very likely wouldn't even be here
