(11,119 posts)in its anti-woman behavior. From its attack on Planned Parenthood to its voter ID laws that made it difficult for women to prove their identities if they'd been married and divorced, Texas sucks!

(15,943 posts)the republican lawmakers and the people that vote for them suck. And Texas isn't the only state has has taken their state's voting rights away. But I'm sure you already know that.

The climate is going to get worse no matter which state you live in. We are just experiencing it sooner than others are currently experiencing. With trump'd in office it won't be too much longer though!!!
I've lived here all my life. Would I like to move, perhaps someday. But I'm working on changing the climate of politics here first.

(6,843 posts)A state with vast territory yet almost no public lands because their might be a drop of oil on it. Every summer Colorado and New Mexico are overrun with Texans clogging the highways and for us, trespassing on private ground. It's almost a weekly ritual to kick a Texan off our section of river. Apparently No Trespassing signs mean something different in Texas.

She is heading west for camping trip next week.
I will tell her not to trespass!!
(I think she knows better. I think they're going to a national park or at least a national forest. She bought a ton of gear and is well prepared)

The Wisconsin Tourism Federation isnt LOL about its initials WTF.
The 30-year-old lobbying coalition of organizations that support the states travel industry learned about a year ago that bloggers were joking about the new, vulgar meaning of the coalitions acronym, said Julia Hertel, the groups administrator in the Madison suburb of Sun Prairie. (For the uninitiated: Its commonly used shorthand for what the f*** in email and texting.) A Web site devoted to language and another, called Your Logo Makes Me Barf, were skewering the name, she said.
After months of discussions, the group in July quietly voted to change its name to Tourism Federation of Wisconsin and update its logo, although the type face and basic design stayed the same.
