9. I have assumed that ever since I heard he'd started

falling out of favor. He's a vengeful bastard, and even if he didn't do something with his name on it, behind the scenes he'd set his little army of alt-right orcs and trolls loose on SCROTUS and family. Bannon is a true believer in his nationalist/isolationist/racist philosophy (if that's what you want to call it), as well as his own presumed worth, and I have no doubt he'd figure out a way to get back at them.

He probably knows a lot about a lot. Maybe that's why he hasn't been fired yet. SCROTUS might want to buy him off, but federal employees can't be required to sign confidentiality agreements.
