Like toy figures on a cartoon map he can move around.

Pretty heady stuff for a draft dodger like Trump.

The numbers that are authorized and the numbers on the ground are not always the same!

And if you look closer at the 2nd ID, you'll see that two of its combat brigades are based at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Unless a movement order has already been issued, it'll take several days for those units to get loaded up and on their way to South Korea.

Most of the defense will have to be done by the ROK military forces!

Add to this the fact that South Korea has only an acting president, with elections scheduled for May 9!

Then, don't worry about the strength of the active army, the draft will be needed and it will be needed quickly.

Trump will have his war....and plenty of medals, plenty of high lights films, plenty of nightly stories of sad tales and military actions, and plenty of body bags...

And in the end, we will be just like in 1953 - stalemate.... unless it becomes nuclear...

Then... all bets are off.

rabid military people who wish to correct the mistake Truman made 60+ with MacArthur years ago.....I wouldn't bet against some type of war happening.....btw...for 30 years the US strategy in Korea to ward off the huge overwhelming attack of North Korea was the use of tactical nukes in the field....they were supposedly removed in 1991...

if North Korea launch an all out assault against S korea, the devastation would be unlike anything we have witnessed since WW2...and US only response would be to use ship and sub base nuclear weapons against North Korea...and China has a mutual defense treaty with North Korea and China has mobilized 150,000 troops to the border ready to go....

but hey...Hillary was the warmonger....right...?

not so fuckin much
