He was always, AFAIK, an atheist and only is pretending to be a Christian to appease the GOPharisees.

Nor does he belong to another denomination that emphasizes the community of the church (say Episcopalian -- he isn't an evangelical as he'd at least know some part of the Bible to reference or quote and he doesn't belong to a church that emphasizes the significance of attending mass/services and the liturgy as in the Catholic Church).

I still can't believe that evangelicals voted for him. It shows how terribly limited they are -- they will vote against every single one of their interests to the point of voting themselves out of Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, etc (evangelicals figure in a big way in these groups) in their insane determination to somehow get Roe v Wade overturned. I mean Trump couldn't even be bothered to fake it during the primary and election. It was insulting to anyone with a brain, even agnostic types like myself. His few, painful comments about religion were just so obviously ignorant and his flippant attitude was insulting (remember his visit to the African-American church? Ugh)

Of course he doesn't care about Good Friday. I also can't believe that this creep is allowed to golf on our dime every single weekend.

Trump thinks too concretely to understand parables, symbolism, etc, so I have no doubt that Holy Week, Good Friday, etc remain foreign to his way of thinking.

It could be any morbidly obese asshole with a red cap leaving more divots in his wake than if he had launched 59 Tomahawks at the golf course.

Donald Trump was back on his West Palm Beach golf course in Florida on Friday, as North Korea’s military threatened to go to war with the United States, if provoked.

The billionaire was joined at his Mar-a-Lago resort by his wife, Melania Trump, and the couple’s son, Barron, for a long weekend trip.

The President was spotted at Trump International Golf Club at around on Good Friday morning, marking what is thought to be the President’s 18th day spent on one of his golf courses since entering the White House exactly 12 weeks ago ...
