States rights are sovereign, until the issue changes. The man thinks weed is the devil.

Alcohol is a greater devil, and I bet he drinks a lot of it.

who voted for rat-ass Sessions, imaging Democrats as backbone-less, morally bankrupt CENTRISTS who ruin everything? Because why else would senators be plural? The first comment pretty much nipped that in the bud.

because of my fond memories of our having sharing a couple of live action threads of events. Since I’m answering every post before closing this out, I’ll say to yours that “RW” and “fell for it” have nothing to do with this thread o’mine or me in anything.

Instead, I typed off the top of my frustration, emotionally, from: 1) Lingering upset over the election results; 2) the shorthand that the Senate as a whole participates in installing the nominees; 3) lingering disgust over the fawning obsequiousness of many (yes, mostly Repuke) senators at the hearings; and most pertinently here, 4) yes, I was narrow in specifying SESSIONS here where I was corrected about how many Dems voted for him, but my fuzzy reference was to the general cases of additional Dems who voted for other of the repulsive nominees.

So, it was an instance of my occasional sloppiness, not what you ascribed it to, later in the thread after enough explanation was available to you.

so as to liberate us for a fresh, clean morning. Flames take no prisoners and no satisfaction but their own consumption. And I’m impressed yet again at the high number of rubber-necking in threads like this, while my better efforts sink without an encouraging word. So the entirety of the O.P. is (wow, all the drama over a single line, or even a single letter “s”) :

********************
Special thanks to our Senate, especially our Dem senators, for inflicting rat-ass SESSIONS on us
