Do people understand that with trump and the GOP, or Pence in charge, with the GOP in charge in the House and Senate, that laws making these lawsuits possible will disappear, you do KNOW that, right?
Laws that make what trump and team are doing as to espionage, they can be changed too, you know that, right?
So next time you make an even remotely negative comment about the democratic party, remember that what you are doing is working toward making it so the only laws that are left protect white males and wall street.
I see I have to make a revision already, ANY negative comment can work against the party AT this TIME in our history, and will.
There isnt enough room here for me to make mine because I am a FAR left person, but I know the difference between a two party system and not one.
I dont have to explain this to people who understand.

(31,112 posts)BTW, you are talking to someone who has and will criticize the party more than the vast majority of democrats.
But while the alternative is death by fascists, it is obvious what we have to do.
Well, obvious to me and others.

(29,149 posts)or will contribute to election losses. Shielding anything (a person, a business, a political party) from "even remotely negative comments" is certainly no way to help make that thing stronger or more effective.

(31,112 posts)Again, there isnt enough room on this blog for me to make my critical comments because I am a very far left person, but understanding how a 2 party system works, I dont.
The key is understanding how a 2 party system works.

(29,149 posts)We live in a two-party system. It's pretty important that the democratic party be effective and successful. Trying to ensure that nobody ever speak anything remotely negative about it is not, in my opinion, the way to make it stronger.
I just don't agree that "any negative comment can work against the party AT this TIME in our history, and will."

(30,481 posts)I think the party should stop placating outsiders and keep forging their overall progressive path.
I think the party should put more emphasis on school boards and local municipalities.
There is a lot of honest criticism that is welcome here and is not divisive or combative. It's clear as to who is going for division around these parts.

(30,481 posts)Overall, I agree.
It's like the new 40% Independent argument that has been showing up. It's complete bullshit in how it's being framed. A very dishonest debating technique.

(31,112 posts)Most would phrase it better than I did, but the message is simple.
Constant criticism of HRC and the party is why we are where we are.
