I figured out how to hide every thread with the word "Bernie" in the header.

I neither hate nor love the guy. I'm just bored of all the pointless threads. I figured out how to hide them so that I can see other, more interesting threads.

If you would like to do the same, go to "my account" at the top right of the page and pick the "trash" feature.

"tweet", every name of every TV or radio talking head, "shit", "fuck", "insane", every variation of "trump", "melania", "ivanka", "barron" and about 25 other words. The quality of DU has gone up immensely for me. If I trash the right words, I don't have to put anybody on ignore.

The incessant and childish whining is annoying.

It is a wonderful tool, though. I haven't checked my list in awhile: Hillary, Jill Stein, Mika, Nader, Morning Joe, 538, identity politics (don't remember why) and polls. I remember taking the asterisk (I was missing *Official* threads, so I just put the obnoxious offender on ignore), Perez and Ellison off more recently.
