He lives in a city that's walled off from civilization and has a lot of dead people in it. And he drives around in that stupid little car surrounded by bulletproof glass, I mean this guy is an elitist. Who wears a hat like that, seriously? I should be elected Pope, the Vatican is a city that has lots of gold and shiny things. Together we can make the Vatican great again!

6. I believe Trump is following Putin's plan to sow discord in the West

Modern Russia's leading edge in war is all propaganda, smoke and mirrors that confuse and soften the opposition before swooping in for the kill or prize, as in the Crimea.

Heck, at least one high-up Russian wants to get Alaska back---and now we see the Russian Air Force showing up there.

If we start with the premise that Putin did interfere with our election to get Trump in office and cause Clinton to lose, and we examine trump's statements during the election, and his campaign's action and transition team actions we will see the pattern leading toward success for Russia foreign policy as well as a pattern to deflec-to give the illusion that Trump is acting against Putin.

Greenwald's piece on a Russian political advisor is interesting and it becomes hard to figure whether it is a straightforward analysis by a Russian liberal telling us we need to "stop bashing" Russians for our own good, or a part of the sowing of discord propaganda war.

Eventually people don't know what to believe-and that in itself, advances the Putin objective.

and popular politicians and talk show hosts who are either knowingly working for Putin or might as well be given their behavour and when i say the names people go ape-shit so I will save myself the stress.

Tillerson was hired because putin told trump, through an emissary, that he was to do that. Trump did NOT know him 3 months ago.

The guy who's been muttering darkly in his drink all evening realizes it's about time to leave the bar and go back to his shitty life. But there's one thing left to do: Pick a fight with someone. The regulars know that this is what Randy does every Friday night, and they just let him strut and sneer. Every now and then, though, there's someone who doesn't know Randy or who's had a rough week, too, and isn't in the mood for his shit.

... of sinking piers into the Great Lakes to support the Canada Wall, and he'll pay for it by stealing Canada's potable water and selling them American cow juice.

I'm kidding, of course. Trump has never looked into the feasibility or true costs, of anything he's ever proposed.

"Supply Management" in the Canadian dairy industry is completely against the spirit of NAFTA. It also makes dairy products ridiculously expensive in Canada.

18. The Canadian National Milk Marketing Plan and an unconsidered problem for Dairy Farmers
Fri Apr 21, 2017, 12:42 PM
Apr 2017

"The government of Canada put in place a supply management system in the early 1970s in an effort to reduce the surplus in production that had become common in the 1950s and 1960s, and ensure a fair return for farmers.

In 1970, the National Milk Marketing Plan came into effect to control supply, with the federal government and the governments of Ontario and Quebec, the two largest provinces, signing on. By 1974 every province except Newfoundland had signed on. Following dairy, a national supply management system was implemented for eggs in 1972, turkey in 1974, chicken in 1978 and chicken hatching eggs in 1986.

The basic idea behind supply management is to manage production so that supply is in balance with demand, and the farm gate price enables farmers to cover their costs of production, including a fair return on labour and capital... Because production is in sync with demand, overproduction is avoided; this enables farmers to earn a predictable and stable revenue, directly from the market."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dairy_farming_in_Canada

American farmers have purposefully poured out more than 43 million gallons’ worth of milk due to an excessively abundant supply of the dairy product in the county.

In any case, American dairy farmers have their own production problems approching them:

"Two anti-immigration bills on the docket in Wisconsin could have serious trickle-down effects on the state’s famed dairy industry and force many workers to abandon the region, a rights group has warned... It’s estimated that more than 40 percent of workers on dairy farms are Latino, according to a University of Wisconsin study, and some 90 percent of those come from Mexico... German Sanchez, a nine-year veteran of the state’s dairy farms, said many people don’t realize the importance of Latino workers in the industry. The work may be blue-collar, but it requires a high level of skill and a work ethic that mandates you tend to the cows even [the] when weather dips down to 30-below... “Everybody knows Wisconsin is cheese land, and cheese comes from milk and milk comes from cows, and these cows are taken care of by Latinos.”... When you drink milk, enjoy it,” he [German Sanchez] said.

It might be harder to get if there’s no one to take care of the cows.
