Penguins Stage Their Own Adorable March For Science
“Science gives us happy feet.”Being unable to make it to Washington, D.C. for the official March for Science didn't keep this group of five African penguins from taking their own stand on Saturday.
Guided by staff of the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, Calif., the penguin troop waddled their way through the Kelp Forest gallery at the aquarium in what was dubbed the "The March of the Penguins for Science." Volunteers and visitors cheered the birds on while holding signs with messages such as "Climate science is black and white," "Science gives us happy feet" and "Honk honk. Bray bray. African penguins are here to stay."
