Yesterday I saw a breed I had never seen before too: The Aussiedoodle

Hekate
(100,133 posts)Lhasa Apso plus poodle, named Cali. She's around 13 pounds, very sturdy, active, and smart.
My previous dog was a CockaPoo, named Betsy, maybe 8 pounds, darling little floppy dust mop but kind of dumb. Her sister Choux-Choux, her littermate, was more like Cali in intelligence, size and build. There is obviously no standard and people have been crossing them back and forth for a very long time; my mom had a Cockapoo 50 years ago, and he was like Choux-Choux and Cali, that is, a good sturdy little dog.
End of sales-pitch for this type of pet!
