(25,524 posts)To mean more like talking points. Where was that, a town hall with Chris Hayes? The real meaning was explained to Sanders but he didn't listen.

(7,003 posts)Having empathy for and supporting those who are disenfranchised, because of their political identity, may be politically correct, but it is a failed endeavor apparently.
BTW, is it still okay to stick up for actual Democrats--over people who are not Democrats yet bash Democrats while relying upon Democrats for political relevance--on the DU?

(7,003 posts)He instead calls on Democrats to indulge them. He coddles them and seeks their approval through bashing Dems.

(297,237 posts)under the bus" by BS?
Ossoff is running for a very important Congressional seat and BS couldn't even be bothered to know who he was on Election Day.
Answer me that gd riddle.

(47,209 posts)Passive aggressive bullshit. It's funny when it's Mariah and JLo but not when we're talking congress.
Cha
(297,237 posts)and he didn't know who Jon Ossoff was.. give me a break. well, he's heard of him now.
Why doesn't the Nation ask about Jon Ossoff and why BS personally threw him under the damn Bus?

(25,524 posts)which became a meme because of course J-lo is very famous and a direct rival -- very passive aggressive and thus "shade." All I know about shade and celebrities I learn at Jezebel, so I hope I have this right.

(47,209 posts)Talking about getting Dems in congress. It's disappointing.
Mariah went on to say she meant she didn't know JLo personally - had never met her. Which is why she couldn't say she "liked her". So yeah, it's shady.
Cha
(297,237 posts)we're concerned about. while he's playing shade games.
Vesper
(229 posts)No need for transparency, keeping his word, actually being progressive etc.
I recall another candidate who was attacked for her transparency, who refused to promise more than she knew she could deliver and was a progressive for decades and actually contributed to progress made by this country, despite being in elected office a few decades less than her opponent.
Cha
(297,237 posts)candidate passed with Flying Colors.. but the PRO-Choice, Jon Ossoff candidate didn't make the cut.
Right, Hillary is an intelligent woman with a plan.. they couldn't handle that.. so with all the hate piled up outta lies we got fuckhead rigged in.

(229 posts)that center of the universe, Omaha! Who knew the Mayor of this small city had such power?
I guess we really should take the blame for convincing by telepathy (I can only assume) Bernie to do something so profoundly stupid as to draw attention to this rabid anti-choicer and throw a grenade into anything approaching unity and pissing off the base and the backbone of the party, the women who do all the damned work.
How naughty of us to make Bernie do these things against his will. Poor man, he has so little agency. We also made him state that our basic human rights are not an important thing for us to be "rigid" on, why can't we just let this great and infallible man simply rule over us with his perfection and holiness? Why must we use our witchy ways to make him do and say offensive things on camera and then double down on them?
It's all our fault, so say his most devoted followers, and we know they too are infallible, they can do no wrong ever, it's all us never, ever the holy one.
