Isn't this very unusual? What is he looking for? If I were a US Senator, I would be very skeptical. He cannot be trusted and they should know that.

Is the meeting about North Korea? Is it about the investigation which is about to begin in earnest? (Hopefully)

Reporter Kasie Hunt saying it's not certain that BLOTUS will even be there or he might stop in for a minute.
Is it a giant photo-op and power play? BLOTUS can beckon the entire Senate and they will meekly oblige?
Is it State and Defence Departments making a case for war with North Korea?
Kasie Hunt also reported that tonight the entire House will have a similar briefing at the Capitol.

One of my concerns is that he may be planning to launch some sort of attack against North Korea and will announce that it is already underway when the Senate shows up.

Or, it could be just a power play, wherein he assembles the Senate in "his house" for a dressing down of some sort.

Either way, this is unlikely to end well for Trump.
