Outright panic in russian talkshow as german journalist calls out propaganda.

http://www.huffingtonpost.de/2017/04/26/die-nato-bereitet-einen-angriff-auf-russland-vor_n_16255394.html?utm_hp_ref=germany
(article in german)

Boris Reitschuster is a german journalist, famous for being critical of Russia. He was invited to a political talk-show on the russian state-owned TV-channel Rossija1. Due to the distance, he only joined via web-cam. The article at the link was written by him.

- "Something must be mentally wrong with (french election candidate) Macron, because his wife is older than him."
- The german news-outlet "Der Spiegel" and the german news-agency "dpa" get paid €2 million by Brussels to spread propaganda.
- Nato is itching for a war and just waiting for an excuse to attack Russia.

Russia obviously thinks that politics elsewhere in the world work just as in Russia: dominated by secret intelligence, rampant manipulation of the masses by the government, conspiracies everywhere.

The wife of a french politician was accused of accepting €800,000 as a bribe. A russian commentator ridicules that: €800,000 hardly counts as a bribe. Reitschuster counters that it says a lot about Russia when a bribe of €800,000 is considered ridiculous.

Reitschuster gets unexpected applause from the russian audience when pointing out that Europe cannot possibly be that bad if millions of Russians move there every year.

The host gets visibly nervous when Reitschuster stated that Nato isn't expanding eastwards: Eastern-european states are joining Nato for safety because they feel threatened by Russia.
A Duma-Representative counters and talks about Nato-aggression. Reitschuster's response is inaudible due to "technical difficulties".

Reitschuster points out that russian media is spreading the rumor that Macron is gay.
And that's where the panic starts to set in in the talk-show.
Wait, what? Just because somebody wrote something...
No, no, no. It is russian state-media that is spreading this rumor.

How about Russia financing the Front Nacional with millions of Euros?
The host tries to ridicule that.

At this point, Reitschuster's microphone is toned down, to make him inaudible.
A Duma-Representative claims that Russia wants a strong Europe. Then why does Russia support anti-european political parties? No answer.
Reitschuster's comment that at least there's a real election in France while in Russia everybody knows who will win anyway... It goes unheard.

Rossija1 later praised the talk-show as "60 minutes that shook Brussels."
Yeah, sure.

What is the purpose of this propaganda?
The russian economy is in bad shape. Young people have little perspectives. Protraying Nato as an enemy ia distraction. A distraction from Putin's failed interior and economic policies, from corruption, from despotism.

After 15 years of propaganda, political talk-shows have no credibility in Russia. That's why critical voices get invited, but only in homeopathic doses.
