She's not. She's a trust fund baby. And look, you can't choose your parents, so it's not fair to criticize people just for being born rich. FDR and JFK both came from immense wealth, and did great things.
I call Ivanka a trust fund baby because she's done nothing but spend her dad's money and trade on her dad's name her whole life. The same goes for Eric and Don Jr.
Honestly, entrepreneurship is over-glorified in our society already. But still, there's something to it. For regular people, it means taking a risk. It means possibly finding yourself years down the road with no money. Sometimes it means leaving school. Other times it means dropping out of a path of career advancement. It means being tested in unpredictable ways, and it means you can do everything right and still fail.
Entrepreneurs need to have an idea (besides "people will tacky junk if it says Trump" . It means finding ways to raise money (besides "daddy give me money" . Starting a company that uses the name Trump to sell gaudy jewelry to people with bad taste, when the name "Trump" is already synonymous with gaudy bad taste, is not any kind of entrepreneurial accomplishment.
And, yeah, I know about the "kids are off limits" rule, but when you decide to make your kids a central part of your administration, then that rule becomes void. Especially that she's being sold as some kind of spokeswoman standing up for female entrepreneurs. If you want to know about female entrepreneurship, ask Oprah.

Then they are fair game.
Ivanka keeps talking about having had no barriers to her aspirations. Yeah, easy to say when you're born into wealth.
These people make me so angry. They have no idea whatsoever how actual people live.

Aaaargh.
