Con fight- Weekly Standard editor calls Fox's Watters a 'disgusting creep' over Ivanka remarks

John Podhoretz isn't buying a Fox News host's explanation for a controversial remark he made on air about Ivanka Trump.

The editor of the conservative Weekly Standard blasted Fox's Jesse Watters on Twitter, calling him a "disgusting creep" for saying on the network that he "really liked" the way Trump, the president's daughter and adviser, was speaking into a hand-held microphone.

"Congratulations, Jesse Watters, you're a disgusting pig as well as being a racist moron," Podhoretz said on Twitter.

Watters later clarified his remark on Twitter, saying he didn't mean for it to be taken sexually.

"On air I was referring to Ivanka's voice and how it resonates like a smooth jazz radio DJ. This was in no way a joke about anything else," said Watters.
But Podhoretz wasn't buying it. He retweeted Watters's clarification, adding, "You are so full of shit it's coming out your ears, you disgusting creep."
