Everybody is pro-life.
Not everybody is pro-choice.
Anti abortion is too long and sounds "bleh". What's a better word for people who are not pro-choice?

(13,903 posts)cause most social conservatives don't care much about human rights after birth and many are pro death penalty, well unless you are trying to keep a person in some form of forced vegetative state.

(8,311 posts)You can be pro-choice but anti-abortion for your own choice.
People who want to deny choice to others are anti-choice, and support forced birth.

ETA: Or we could call them fetus fetishists, because they tend to worship the fetus but not care one bit what happens after it is born.

(24,412 posts)Because that's essentially what it's all about. People writing laws trying to stamp out abortion rights don't want women to be able to CHOOSE to have an abortion (And, I might add, in the Northern Marianas Islands/Saipan, they don't want their female indentured servants to be able to choose NOT to have an abortion if their sweatshop/sex club bosses demand it).

(6,148 posts)I like it better than anti-choice. Pro-life people see adoption and raising the child as two possible options. So, technically, they are not "anti-choice". The only choice they don't accept is abortion. So, anti-abortion fits.
I have known anti-abortion people to call themselves pro-choice. I hate it, but I've seen it.
