I sure hope Jill Stein and her followers are proud of Trump's tax plan.

A huge giveaway to the ultra-wealthy and corporations. Estate tax repealed. Corporate tax to 15%, including pass-thru corps that only benefit rich people with fancy tax lawyers. Top rate down to 35%. AMT removed. Thanks Jill!

Of course, the sad thing is that this is exactly what everyone knew Trump was going to try to do. And yet the far left continued to push votes away from the Democratic Party with their false equivalency rhetoric.

It would be nice if for once one of these people would admit they were wrong. Can you imagine? Jill Stein or Susan Sarandon or Chris Hedges saying: you know what, now that I see what the GOP actually does in office, I look back and see how foolish it was to help them get elected.

People who voted for her would never have voted for Clinton or Dolt45. If no third party candidate had been on the ballot, they'd have stayed home. You can never count Green votes as potential Democratic votes because they never are and never will be.

It's like Republicans in 2008 saying McGramps would have won if only those black people/women hadn't voted.

It's like Republicans in 2008 saying McGramps would have won if only those black people/women hadn't voted.

Race and gender are demographic categories, not political alignments.

And the Greenie Naderite Nutters saw their numbers in 2016 triple from what they were in 2012, so quite obviously some people who should have known better decided to indulge their own special snowflake vanity rather than trying to keep Tr*mp out of office.

They were a growing party over 20 years ago when I first moved to NM, looked good on paper. Then they ran an antiabortionist for governor. That pretty much killed them off right then. They get a few votes from the college kids and a few diehard old hippies but they're a minority party that will never manage to go anywhere around here.

But they are influenced by their leaders. If people like Nader, Stein, Hedges, etc., had not been effectively supporting Republicans for the last 20 years and telling their followers that the Democrats were evil, then certainly 2000 and probably 2016 would not have gone to the GOP.

And, frankly, after throwing 2 presidential elections to the GOP in 16 years, I'm not going to shut up about it or get over it anytime soon. I thought they had learned their lesson after 2000. But they didn't and here we are again.

A most creative way to hold yourself to a lower standard you hold others to.

by some exposed foreign trolls who were advocating for Stein and pushing people bitter over a primary loss (that they'd convinced was somehow rigged) to vote that way. There were other groups who were instructing people to write in invalid candidates.

It would be one thing if they were people who were Green Party supporters, knew something about the party, its platform what they stood for, and what Stein herself stood for. But these were not those people.

Given all the different venues and the numerous debates, it would have been nice if they had allowed her and some of the smaller party candidates to have some airtime. If only so that we could see what they actually had to say when they weren't embarrassing themselves on TV or on twitter.

There were a lot of people started talking about Jill, and it was clear that they knew nothing about her, it was just a new way to abuse Clinton. (The ones on twitter were hardly subtle about it, especially the ones exposed as foreign trolls.)

And the result would have been the same: Clinton won the popular vote and Asshole got into office via the EC.

we need to understand that we never had these people in the first place. It isn't about them. We need the Obama coalition but these are least dependable highest vapor pressure components. These are the people we need the least. First we need the so called Reagan democrats who voted for Trump. They are just confused and we need to get a clear message to them.

You think that they care? I'm sure that they're just happy that Hillary didn't win- the sole purpose (it seems) that the Greens ever really run in Presidential Elections is to defeat the Democratic candidate. And, weirdly, they almost always tend to seriously run right after the Democrats hold the WH for 8 years (2000 & 2016).
