15. 1. It wasn't exactly a speech, but I still recall quite well President Kennedy on TV

during the Cuban Missile Crisis seconds before the pullback by the Soviet Union.

2. President Obama during the 2004 Democratic Convention, a very powerful speech.

3. LBJ saying he wasn't running for reelection.

They were not all really speeches, but 3 points in time that have stuck in my mind, along with Nixon finally departing the WH by helicopter. And when the US pulled out of Vietnam and people hanging from the rungs of a departing helicopter from Saigon trying to escape in the last minutes out.
