"Why are you voting Republican?" - Rush Limbaugh has a sad

Caught a few minutes of his show just now.

He is having a bad bad day over the budget.
"Why are you voting Republican?" was the theme.
He said that DC doesn't care about "the will of the people" and have abandoned all of Trump's agenda.

He actually got a clue for a while blaming it all on MONEY. K Street lobbyists don't like Trump's agenda so it won't happen. then he reverted to his normal inanity failing to see how the stupid Trump's agenda is and how it was DOA because moderate Republicans know it's nonsense.

Commercial break

He comes back with "Why are you voting Republican?" Listing what's still in the budget.
Refugee placement
HB2 visas
The EPA was spared Trump's cuts
Planned Parenthood
Judicial funding increase "those mean judges "
California high speed rail
Green initiatives
Consumer Protection
National Institute of Health increased
Etc.

I wouldn't call it a meltdown but it was pretty close.
It was definitely hilarious to listen to.

IHeartradio, formerly Clear Channel, which has a division that actually contracts with the likes of Hannity & Limpy (Premiere Partnership?) seems to be creeping toward collapse.

Not sure what that would mean on the radio dial. Hopefully there would be shows shutting down and radio properties for sale.

Funny - this is about the only article I could find quickly:
http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/4257357-report-iheartradio-faces-potential-collapse

I am a radiophile and have been following CC's demise for a long time. Couldn't happen to a nicer business.
And the irony is that Bain Capital had a major hand in gutting them.

I believe that Romney's old operation bought it up but I could be wrong about that.

many years back I tried to line up partners to get some liberal radio presence in our area.
Hardly anyone cared. Eventually I gave up.

There are two things that are recession proof - liquor stores and musical equipment stores. Musicians will spend rent money for their next upgrade.

Refresh my memory: Didn't the Democrat poll some 2.8 million more votes than the Republican? Didn't Democratic candidates in the House and Senate poll more votes than the Republicans? Republicans really should give that "will of the people" thing a rest right now. Their majorities are solely the creation of their own gerrymandering of districts, caging of Democratic voters, and wholesale disenfranchisement of likely Democratic voters. That's the stuff of a dictator's, not the vox populi.

And you're right; the popular media completely elides the shrinkage in those Republican majorities from the 2016 vote.

sounds like the Dems are the real negotiators.

There was something in there about limiting border security to just repairing current fence.

Sounds like a bad day to be a Trump supporter.

The Fox News nonsense talking points got pushed down the stairs.

They run on what their gerrymandered voters hear on the TV/radio fully knowing that it'll never happen.

Very bad day.
