Might work, but I wouldn't count on it. Only a loss of eyeballs and dropping revenues will speak clearly.

It's even worse than before and their new editor, Lydia Polgreen, has been the force behind its changes. In her letter to the readers, she wrote, "What would it mean to create a news organization that saw itself not as writing about people who feel left out of the political, economic and social power arrangements, but for them?" As journalism, what the hell does that mean? Present the news and don't write it for a specific point of view. The latter is called editorializing or commentary.

Far too many of HuffPost's stories are links to other websites and don't represent their own reporting. Additionally, there are so many links to click-bait sites that it's a hodgepodge of crap.

Plus, their hosting software is terrible. The pages are constantly shifting to display various ads or graphics and it's always clunky.

Originally, Arianna Huffington had a good idea and the site had potential. Now, it's just garbage.

I would like a simple centrist news/entertainment site, but it has turned into something else.

Maybe I'm not in their demo anymore.

I stopped reading Huff Po a long time ago except for the occasional peek. I agree though the new format is not very good which I noticed the other day. Perhaps if they get enough complaints they will alter it.

I've finally succumbed to uBlock Origin because my whitelist/blacklist/javascript filters were becoming unwieldy.

I don't block advertising on sites I regularly visit, but Huffington Post isn't one of those.

heavy, some true crime stuff, about 50% trump-related. Basically, it's a miniature version of the internet.

I guess if they changed the format, it's because they thought it would bring in more views / clicks and ultimately more $$$$.
