just how crazy does he have to act before this nightmare ends?

does he have to start lighting fires in the white house before people get their heads out of their asses?

no, dems do not have the votes to impeach him.
but many dems have the secrets, and they are keeping them secret.

there comes a time to tell the truth, come hell or high water.
and the water is getting pretty deep here.

I share your disquiet, and the desperate need for someone to do something already! But the case is building up, perhaps if more people had showed up and voted up and down the ballot as they'd been begged to do, we might have a prayer of doing something NOW, but that's not what happened.

His own tantrums are damning him, and the evidence is building up, it's only a matter of time, they're already having their effects in the courts.

23. Two BIG problems with your idea
Mon May 1, 2017, 09:10 PM
May 2017

1) You only get one chance to take down the President. If you fire off an impeachment trial before you have a cast iron case, including evidence from law enforcement and the intelligence community, then you won't get another chance.

It would only make him stronger.

Yes, I share the frustration. But I want it done right and all the way through.

2) Knocking tRump off the perch will have very limited effectiveness and might make things worse because Pence knows how the levers of political power work in Washington.

The elephant in the room is that not only did tRump have a role, but the whole Republicon Party is complicit in stealing the Electoral College.

Once the case is proven, the Presidency must be given to the majority vote winner Hillary Clinton. The alternative is to hold a secure Presidential Election in 2018 and reset the four year cycle. To accomplish either solution, Constitutional scholars and judiciary scholars must find a legal and tenable path for that, which means they better be working on it now.

The Republicon Party that stole the election must not be rewarded by getting to elevate Pence or any appointed successors.

i reiterate- there are dems who know what happened. who have seen concrete evidence. they know they dont have the votes.
but what happens if it all comes out in the press?

maybe we dont actually take these complicit fuckers out of office, but they sure as hell would be tied in knots, and totally powerless.
(in the real world, anyway.)

They all knew that Russia was involved in the hacking and the "fake news" projects. They did nothing. The GOP leadership is complicit in Putin's interference with the election and they're HAPPY with the results.

You're post certainly has its merits, but you're missing the boat if you're discounting foreign interference with the election, made possible, in large part, by the Citizens United case, which allows "dark money" to flow into the election process from foreign sources. Russia leaped on THAT bandwagon.

Whether he does it cynically or is delusional, "The #45 Show" is in full swing. If you have the slightest bit of a functional, analytical, critical mind, you see through the whole act and can sense the major bullshit.

But his supporters lack that capacity, and they see a savior of a magnitude somewhere between country music star and televangelist. It's a total grift, but #45 just happens to be stuck in Delusion City: He's the greatest, most incredible, most successful, savviest, clairvoyant president to ever walk the planet. No wall? They don't care! The fact he cloaked himself in a reactionary, anti-globalist persona is all they care about. They have afforded him cult-leader status. He can do no wrong. I'd be very surprised if any Republicans turn against #45; at least not for another 2 years.
