Report: Jared Kushner Didnt Disclose Startup Stake
Senior adviser and son-in-law to the president, Jared Kusher, allegedly failed to note on a government financial-disclosure form $1 billion in loans and the fact that he is part-owner of real-estate finance startup called Cadre, The Wall Street Journal reports. Due to his stake in Cadre, Kushner is a business partner of Goldman Sachs, as well as Peter Thiel and George Soros. Overall, Kushner failed to identify about $1 billion in loans from more than 20 lenders, according to the report, which was based on securities and other filings. A lawyer for Kushner, Jamie Gorelick, said the stake in Cadre is detailed in a new, revised version of the financial-disclosure form and that it will be publicized after certification from ethics authorities. Gorelick said Kushner has resigned from Cadres board, assigned his voting rights, and reduced his ownership share.

Gorelick served on British Petroleum's Advisory Council, as their top legal counsel after the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Gorelick is a lobbyist for the lending industry fighting student loan reform
Gorelick represented Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of Donald Trump, as he considered a possible role in the White House. She had advised Kushner, who has sprawling financial interests in a multi-billion-dollar global real estate empire, on how he might comply with federal ethics and anti-nepotism laws. She has argued that although officials leading federal agencies are barred from hiring relatives, the White House is not an agency and thus exempt. Gorelick argued that if Kushner forgoes a White House salary, he would not be bound by federal nepotism rules. Though Kushner has no experience in government or public policy, Trump directed that during his Presidential transition all foreign-policy matters be relayed through Kushner. Kushner participated in meetings between Trump and foreign heads of state while continuing to run the Kushner Companies.
Thanks a lot Jamie for making it so much easier for nepotism in this White House and misadministration!!!

(82,849 posts)You just fly-speck ever little detail, don't you? How many of you libtards could account down to the billion every dollar you have in assets, loans, and investments? Didn't think so! So Jared overlooked a measly billion dollars. Could happen to anyone. Fine. We'll just file a revised form. Happy now?
