What would happen if people stopped shielding tRump?
There have been many articles written how tRump has staffers who go through newspapers, magazines etc and everyday hand him a stack of all the media attention he gets. This started when he was a "businessman" and continues - with only positive articles or mentions highlighted (can't be that big of a stack) - as he is "president".
Every time we read stories about those close to him, there is always a mention of how information is presented to him in a way that makes him look good.
It's probably why he goes off on Twitter storms when he accidentally catches SNL or Jake Tapper on CNN.
Part of his delusions are of his own making - he has been putting spins on his negative shit for decades ("King of Debt"
to the point he actually believes his lies. But there are staffers who feed this by filtering information he receives.
This is more of a morbid curiosity type question - if all those filters go away (Fox and Friends goes off the air, his staffers revolt, sycophants call in sick) - what would happen if he was actually faced with how reviled he is? How mocked and how stupid the world thinks he is? He must know - it has to be why he hasn't left the country since he was elected, and why he only stays or eats at places with his name on them. But if no one was around to keep reassuring him of his 'greatness' - would he finally snap? Or is he so far gone in his magical thinking it wouldn't matter?
