Judicial Watch - yes, that Judicial Watch, the same right wing wacko group we heard from so often during the Bill Clinton years (every time they sued him), is still pushing their fantasy that Hillary Clinton should be in prison. They are just SURE she did something criminal with her Blackberry, and they're going to pursue it until SHE'S LOCKED UP!
The "Press Room" page of their (Judicial Watch) website has a headline on April 27th: "FBI Court Filing Reveals Grand Jury Targeted Hillary Clinton". They state that:
“The FBI convened a grand jury to investigate Hillary Clinton in 2016. Why is this information being released only now?” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “And it is disturbing that the State Department, Justice Department and FBI are still trying to protect Hillary Clinton. President Trump needs to clean house at all these agencies.”
Incidentally, Politico parrots the same crap. Trouble is, the FBI can't convene a grand jury, and can't even issue subpoenas. Rule 6 of title III requires a court to do that.
One of the tactics common to all of these right wing groups is obfuscation; baffle 'em with bullshit.
