- we won't defend a woman's right to choose?
- we won't defend health care for those in need?
- we won't fight for equality and true democracy vs. greed and oligarchy?
There are no Conservative hands reaching across the aisle in congress, trying to return to some "centrist normality." Perhaps imperfect, but functional.
We are (mostly) not fighting over small turf wars here.
I disagree with most Conservative principles with every bone in my body.
I think most Democratic principles ARE about working for the benefit of people as a whole.
With respect ...I cannot fathom where truce enters this picture.
