so they would go easy on Phoney Comey? It seems the Democratic Senators have been compromised. Not one pointed question regarding Russia. More time spent on general FBI processes related to terrorism and Clinton's emails than us being attacked by the Russians. We need to contact these inept pricks and raise HOLY HELL!

and includes issues other than Russia. This is not the Russia investigation committee.

9. My reasoning for the question is that they talked about Clinton's emails

more than they talk about Russia. If it was just a question of general F.B.I. oversight and how the FBI operates regarding unmasking etc., why did they talk about Russia or Clinton's emails at all?

Of course my question is rhetorical requiring no response.
It was a sham so GOP fascists can prop up their Golden Boy, (actually orange), Bigoted Racist Sexual Predator and Chief by taking more digs at Hillary.

Also Comey said he would not respond to ongoing investigations our investigations that were not pursued or prosecuted. Guess who's investigation was not pursued are prosecuted.

3. This is an FBI Oversight hearing

Not a Russian investigation hearing. The R's are going to use their time to talk about anything and everything else.

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the nature of this hearing. I had to look it up cause I was talking at my TV that the damn emails have nothing to do with Russia.)

6. You are right. This is NOT a Russia hearing, so they are asking the questions that would be expected

in this context (judicial oversight). And yes of course the Repubs are going to ask questions about the emails. This is entirely different from the intelligence hearing earlier. Also, a few senators (Repubs and dems) DID ask Russia-related questions, and Comey stated that he couldn't say anything. It would be useless for dems to keep pressing in a hearing that isn't meant for the intelligence investigation anyway when Comey isn't going to say anything publicly.

for reasons of classified info being discussed... and the investigation is ongoing so no public conversation about details.

8. Scattered actual oversight business

Since that is what this meeting is supposed to be for. Did learn a little about how the incidental collection occurs I did not know. And a little bit about how it had been originally set up then later modified "702".

I was interested in any updates to russiagate. But no real major updates on russiagate since still under investigation. Did sound like a slight confirmation on at least a rico case was going on even though Comey wouldn't confirm.

But the repub's main concern is Hillary's emails from 2012? That is stupid. I think the repub's are still going to talking about that in the 2040 elections.
