They are current serving elected officials going on book tours and criticizing Obama for speeches. Will they donate their cash to a good cause like Obama has? We can not let our leaders be hypocrites. Bernie is traveling to Ireland for his book. Lets ask him to donate his money!

(16,950 posts)as a private citizen is unable to influence any political favors i.e., some kind of pay for play malarkey, always assuming something evil. Everyone was to assume evil corruption was happening because a Democrat made money, no proof required, just nasty accusations. Now that political influence is out, it morphs into "looking bad" -- anything to keep the silliness going.
Most Americans are not against people trying to make money or improve themselves. Jeebus! Those points were rejected almost a year ago and they have been completely overdone.
And talk about "institutions" -- what about the evil Wall Street book publishers the self-described progressives selected. Isn't there something awful we can assume about them? Corporations!
