1. Even Democrats are voting yes

Am I missing something here? Why are Dems voting for this?

3. If you don't know if Dems are voting for it, WHY did you state they are?

8. They are voting for HR2192

The poster is simply confused about what HR 2192 does.

Yes, Dems are voting for it, and it is the correct vote on THIS resolution to remove the Congressional exemption.

4. They are voting on an amendment to remove the Congressional exemption. It will pass.

Neither party wants to be seen supporting a special exemption for Congress.

6. Thanks for the clarification...

On C-Span, the screen says "Exemption for congress from health bill'.

It isn't obvious that it is to not exempt them.

7. Because you have it backwards

THIS vote is to get rid of the Congressional exemption, not the other way around.

2. How can anyone vote for these craven sewer rats?

You know they will get reelected in 2018. People are so damn stupid, it's sickening.

5. HR 2192.

To amend the Public Health Service Act to eliminate the non-application of certain State waiver provisions to Members of Congress and congressional staff.

This bill, H.R. 2192, removes those exemptions so that Members of Congress face the same health care options as other Americans.
