I was noticing at Trump's health care "victory" appearances yesterday that all of the people around him and in the background were old, white males. All of them. There were two TV snippets with a woman in it (albeit a white woman). But, it was almost entirely a white Klan mob.

Personally, I think the country's toast. There was an article saying that owing to a variety of factors in Republicans' favor at this time, that Trump could be in a position to appoint as much as 40% of the entire Federal judiciary during his term - including bringing the Supreme Court to a 6-3 conservative majority. We. Are Fucked.

The only way we can move America in a forward-leaning posture is to get legislative majorities and write, or re-write, laws in our favor that these judges have to judge to. Otherwise, we're looking at minority rule for the next 40 years or so.
