So What is Proper and Fitting Punishment for Russia/Putin?

Obviously, the last round of sanctions did nothing to quell Putin's appetite for sowing chaos in western democracies.

1. He's doing it now in France and EVERYWHERE

including here (still...ongoing). Where can we get some plutonium? Can we put it in the water coolers at the Kremlin and White house and FOX?

2. At a minimum, expel Russia from the world's banking system

namely, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) .

Make them carry cash in suitcases like North Korea

3. Lock up his WH pals; Re-secure our voting machines; Take cyber security seriously...

Pass Senate Bill 94 locking in the 2014 sanctions for 10 years ;
Re-establish our global leadership role...

Actively investigate & prosecute those involved in international money laundering activities which pass through the US in any way....

Increase Transparency in Govt.
and require transparency in all public & private sector foreign commerce , investment (US abroad & foreign in US) and all energy infustry related transactions...,

Re structure campaign finance rules

Actually embrace & promote the concept of separation of church & state

I could go on...

But basically....
the most effective strategy to address Putin's actions is to get our own shit together so that we can eliminate the easy access he has recently enjoyed & exploited....

4. We do need to get our own shit together

I wasn't thinking of a unilateral US sanctioning strategy. It would be silly to think this impacts only us or us to a greater extent than anyone else. No, this is serious shit with global consequences.
