I thought I heard Susan Sarandon's voice on a Tylenol ad

I don't use Tylenol very often but I'll never use it again if that is in fact her. Anybody know?

I recognized her voice too. She has a nice voice, it's her words that I object to.

4. Susan Sarandon or not, don't.

That stuff will ruin your liver - and quickly.

7. Yeah, I almost never use Tylenol...

Generally, I stick with aspirin when needed. Sometimes I'll use a Naproxin generic (Aleve equivalent), but I shy away from it.

Not a fan of pain killers in general. I have a history of alcohol abuse, so I have to be careful about that shit.

20. problem with acetominophen is, there's not a lot of leeway

it's easy to hit a toxic dose liver-wise. As I understand it.

I'm fortunate in that ibuprofen works better for me, anyway.

23. If a person stays under 3,000 mg it's fine

The issue is people aren't tracking how much they take. They'll take. Tylenol PM, cold and flu, or Vicodin and then more acetaminophen on top of it.

http://www.health.harvard.edu/pain/acetaminophen-safety-be-cautious-but-not-afraid

Taking a couple acetaminophen for pain every now and then won't damage your liver.

If you drink regularly.
Hope Susan takes it in huge quantities.

12. Ugh. Unfortunately I can't take aspirin

I take a generic/store version of acetaminophen. Anyone know if Tylenol is involved in manufacturing the generics? I have sometimes severe back pain and need something besides aspirin. I can't take Ibuprofin either.

I despise Sarandon but I don't want to be howling in pain!

I take a blood thinner and I was told that the only over the counter painkiller I could take is acetaminophen.

32. Real Tylenol is Johnson & Johnson

I think the generic/store brands are made elsewhere.
I have a medicine cabinet full of Giant brand ("Care One" OTC stuff, it's all good.

for money that she needs to do voice over for commercials? Seriously, why? Why not give someone on the lower end of acting a chance to make a few thousand.

28. She does tons of voice overs for ads

That $50 million fortune doesn't spontaneously generate, you know. She makes it by promoting the profits of multinational conglomerates, like L'Oréal, that make billions by exploiting workers in the Global South. I don't recall if Tylenol is among them, but if you thought you heard her, you're probably right.

The dictionary should have her photo next to the word hypocrite.
