Has Flynn agreed to be the "fall guy"?

It is now being reported that he was warned by the "transition team". Who, on the transition team, would have warned him?

Has he agreed to take the fall for a pardon from Trump?

They seem to have suddenly focused all their blame on Michael Flynn?

They are in the " protect the President" mode, it seems?

It does seem that the cover-up is in full swing.

12. Protect president mode, & a few other asses as well, but

if a handful of "stooges" have to fall too - well, oh, well, shit happens.

I don't think any one of us should allow it. If any one of them colluded, conspired, cooperated, aided or abetted a hostile foreign power then I don't care who they are - they need to be punished for subversion.

Most especially if they swore an oath.

2. It looks that way, as they run from him. however there are

rumours that the IC have a copy of the recording Trump sent to Putin via Carter Page.

5. Peripheral person at best. Not a central player and not the central crime.

He is brought in after the DNC hack, convention, and nominations of Trump and Pence. He may be a useful witness though to nail Pence.

7. I don't recall that?

I recall that he was the first person to join the Trump campaign, before Pence or any other hires?

10. Yes, and he was in Russia the winter before w Stein... which means they were thinking of what they

Could do for the primaries. I'm certain he was stumping months before the RNc.

14. Feb. 2016 he is an advisor, not a hire. Flynn spoke at the convention, "Lock her up."

Wikipedia: Flynn was asked in February 2016 to serve as an adviser to the Trump campaign. In July 2016, it was reported he was being considered as Trump's running mate; Flynn later confirmed that he had submitted vetting documents to the campaign and was willing to accept the Republican vice-presidential nomination if chosen.

On November 18, 2016, Flynn accepted president-elect Donald Trump's offer of the position of National Security Advisor.

13. Yes! Nail Pence!

I don't believe for a minute that he has clean hands.

He plays a worthy, pious Christian man, but he's corrupted opportunist. A failure who would never been reelected governor. Conspired with Manafort (and who knows who else) to convince Trump to choose him as his running mate.

I'd like to know more about Pence's past. I know he was, & maybe still is, bought & paid for by big tobacco. I bet we'd find Russia in his past somewhere.

9. Volunteered, whether he agreed or not.

He suffers from a classic case of criminal stupidity. His natural arrogance just exacerbated it.
Diagnosis: Pre-existing Fall Guy Syndrome.

11. I'm sure he'll get to keep the rubles, ...

... and his military pension, and his military health insurance.

He'll be ok, no need for him to have to live with Trumpcare.

15. I have the same impression of the way this is headed.

The line "Flynn lied to Pence, lied to the White House" seems to be taken as a absolute fact in the press at this point, despite the fact that it is utterly improbable.
