His winning a primary is obviously irrelevant to the discussion at hand. How did he do among overseas absentee ballots during the election?

and I'd be very surprised if France's strict laws about election reporting allowed the announcement of results from overseas territories while polls are open in the mainland. No announcement like this from any news source, just this Twitter account.
