(101,400 posts)Boundaries are drawn by electoral Commissions, which, when they adjust them for population changes, have to primarily use existing boundaries for local council areas, and consult with the public. But the commissions are not controlled by political parties (though those do submit proposals).

(4,377 posts)Although this election thats being blurred as Labour are facing decimation and the vile Tory government is headed for a massive majority. It's bizarre though as people hate their policies largely, but there's a huge game of 'well we can't vote for the silly socialist' going on. Horrible to watch.
