Metaphorically speaking I have no problem with business having a seat at the table as long as organized labor and you and me have the same amount of seats too.

That's what a liberal democracy looks like.

As long as we start forming powerful multi-national unions or begin combining the union membership from ALL LOCATIONS in all locations (in all nations) where the company has employee facilities or manufacturing plants -- then I wouldn't have nearly as much philosophical animosity toward these conglomerates.
